KEEP THE REEF OFF THE RUNWAY

Nature Foundation Sint Maarten proposes 'Keep the Reef off the Runway', a strategic conservation and compliance initiative designed to address the illegal removal of protected marine species and natural materials from Sint Maarten by departing tourists. The project responds to growing environmental pressures on the island's reefs and coastal ecosystems while strengthening Sint Maarten's obligations under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES).
