Conservation Biologist, he has led the TNC Ecuador Program since 2012, leading a team dedicated to conserving terrestrial, aquatic and marine biodiversity in one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. With more than 30 years of experience in conservation and sustainable development in Latin America, he has promoted public policies, dialogue processes and innovative strategies for ecosystem management. He obtained his university degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, with studies in Agroecology (University of Costa Rica) and a master's degree in Forest Resources and Conservation (University of Florida, USA).
