Ola Kayal

Founder of Nabati Ice Cream

Originally from Saudi Arabia, she considers herself a citizen of the world. Ola obtained a degree in sustainable business, in Business school of Lausanne. Then, she decided to convince her grandfather she will be able to pursue her passion as her career and went to culinary school, Culinary Arts Academy in Switzerland. Where, she obtained her second bachelor’s degree. She worked in various places around the world. It has always been her dream to own her restaurant. As a chef she felt responsible for providing healthy options while reducing the impact on our planet. For the last couple of years, she’s been challenging herself to live a zero-waste lifestyle! Yes, it is indeed a challenge. Ola decided whatever she opens in the future, must match her values; plant based and environmentally responsible. As it also combines both her degrees.
