She is an economist and an award-winning author who served President GW Bush in the White House and on the National Economic Council. She combines her interest in the economy, technology, and geopolitics to found tech companies and to advise investors and policymakers. She is a Senior Partner of The Monaco Foundry, a startup incubator and a Senior Advisor to Avonhurst, a solutions-oriented legal and consulting firm. She is the Chairman of Datifly which advises on the drone industry. She served as the Chairman of The BSI subcommittee on drone manufacturing standards (ACE 22) She co-founded a firm in the drone space of a firm in the drone/autonomy space that won a 2020 CogX award and the 2020 National Technology Award.

Co-founded Climatecoin in 2017 and later ClimateTrade in 2018. The ClimateTrade marketplace recently received the UNWTO prize for the world’s best decarbonization of the travel industry solution. CLIMATECOIN received the prize for one of the best solutions for new Carbon Markets post2020 by the UN in the World Economic and Social Survey 2018 report. His purpose is to create an organization focused on sustainability, and based on disruptive technologies and systems that can tackle climate change and SDG exponentially.

Shannon Carroll

VP GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY EN AT&T

Is Director of Global Environmental Sustainability at AT&T. In his current role he focuses on identifying and implementing strategies and solutions around resource efficiency, renewable energy, and climate change resiliency. Shannon implemented AT&T’s first programs around Zero Waste, Large Scale Renewable Energy, and AT&T’s Climate Change Analysis Tool. Over his 20 year career he has had several roles covering compliance, project management, data operations and supply chain.

Most recently, he championed the development of Miami’s tech economy through Venture Miami and initiatives that connect education and job training to Miami’s new emerging economic sectors such as Fintech, Medtech, and Greentech.
