UNFCCC - Premios Verdes

UNFCCC is the main legal instrument for the international response to the climate change challenge, seeking to stabilize the concentrations of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere in order to prevent dangerous disturbances of an anthropogenic nature in the climate system. The Convention is intended to recognize the vulnerability of all countries to the effects of climate change and ensures that special efforts are made to mitigate the climate consequences, especially in developing countries that lack the resources to do so themselves.
